Here’s a beautiful photo of the Aurora Borealis taken by our daughter’s father-in-law, Neal Brown ((Here’s the story of how Neal had a road named after him. He used to be the director of Poker Flat Research Range, near Fairbanks. “Unbeknownst to me my sidekick, operations controller Mary Farrell at Poker, responded to a Fairbanks North Star Borough (like a county here in Alaska) request to have a name for all roads to use in their 911 call system, by submitting my name for the road leading off of the Steese highway, 30 miles north of Fairbanks, into Poker Flat Research Range.”)), who’s a rocket scientist and an oft-cited authority on the Aurora, living in Fairbanks.
