
Music Video from the Lincoln Project: “Commander-in-Chief”

I started listening to this latest video from the Lincoln Project (a group of long-time GOP consultants), which has been issuing a steady stream of blistering ads against Trump and his GOP enablers, but — not being very young — I was put off by the musical style and was about to turn it off. But then I started really listening to the words, and letting the imagery do its work.
It’s a song addressed to the “Commander in Chief.”
“How does it feel to be able to breathe,” she asks him, while images of George Floyd and others stream by…
This is definitely worth watching and listening to. It ends with the strong message to vote, aimed especially at the young.
