While I am not a resident of this area, living in the Central Valley for a couple of years yet until I retire, I am not immune to the beauty of the Sierras as I work in the foothills every day. But I write here, not to extoll this beauty, others have and will do so I imagine, but to express the wish that this website was more than it is.
I believe wholeheartedly in local activism and wish that there was a more lively community reading and commenting here.
