Mali Dyck summarized the work of the APPLE Center, stressing in particular the compost project underway for making more rational use of green waste citywide.
Reinette Senum gave a progress report on the Alpha Center, which is on schedule for opening next fall.
And Shea Smith talked about HAAlo (“Health Alternatives for All Locals”), a project under development in partnership with APPLE to promote alternative health choices and sustainable herbal medicine in Nevada County.
