The Sacramento Bee’s CapitolAlert blog is reporting that President Obama will campaign for Jerry Brown at a rally in California on October 22nd:
Brown spokesman Sterling Clifford said … that Obama is tentatively scheduled to join Brown and the rest of the state Democratic ticket in Los Angeles on Oct. 22 for a rally.
Obama remains relatively popular in California, with the latest Field Poll giving him a 53 percent approval rating. The Gallup poll shows the president with a 45 percent approval rating
After reading that, I wrote to President Obama using the web form provided for that purpose at http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact and suggested to him that — while he’s campaigning in California for Brown — he should urge Californians to Vote NO on Proposition 23.
