    Are these things supposed to be dogs? Bears? They’ll never replace Hello Kitty. As for journalism, I expect it to go the way of the blacksmith, travel agents, and political parties.

    Those are weird little critters. I’m not especially fond of them, actually. They’re some kind of standard avatars used in these DIY videos, but … the conversation about journalism in this bit is funny.
