Words You’ll Never Hear a Politician Speak, But Should

In the fascinating brief video below, William K. Black, lawyer, academic, former bank regulator and author of “The Best Way to Rob a Bank Is to Own One,” speaks with blistering clarity about what needs to be done (that is currently not being done) to prevent the next financial meltdown. As a close observer of the S&L meltdown of the 1980s, he knows whereof he speaks. He is especially critical of Bernanke, Geithner and Obama.

Thank you Don for posting this; glad I clicked on your post & found out what it was about.

No transcript of this is available online, from what I can see, by googling, but there are transcripts of Black being interviewed recently by Bill Moyers ( http://www.conversationpipeline.com/2011/09/massive-bank-fraud-bill-moyers-with-william-k-black-video-transcript/ ) and by Amy Goodman ( http://www.democracynow.org/2011/10/19/former_financial_regulator_william_black_occupy ) – so for those short on time, go there…
